Uniting Country Housing (UCH) is a company limited by guarantee and is part of the Uniting Country Group. Created in 2010, UCH is a country-based Community Housing Provider. UCH operates as a Tier 2 Community Housing Organisation under the National Regulatory System with a portfolio of over 250 properties, providing housing options to individuals and families throughout country South Australia.
UCH has a number of housing programs for those most in need of housing who are often working with a support agency. Some of our tenants require extra support to live independently or are unable to access alternative forms of housing such as private rental or home ownership.
Certain houses are set aside for individuals with distinct requirements, including Mental Health Housing, Transitional and Supportive Housing Programs, Domestic Violence and other supported housing initiatives. Additionally, there are accommodations specifically designated for individuals who fulfil specific criteria, such as being 55 years of age or older or requiring disability support.

Our regional South Australian focus allows us to tailor our support to the specific needs of people and families within the communities we serve.
This prioritises resources for those with limited access to housing options, ensuring help reaches those most in need.
This ensures our assistance is directed toward those experiencing financial challenges and in need of housing support.
There may be additional criteria that apply to you. Please note that exceptions to the above criteria may be granted in extenuating circumstances.
