Diversity, Inclusion & Culture

Being your true self

We recognise and celebrate the beauty of our individuality. Each of us brings a diverse tapestry of backgrounds, life experiences, beliefs, personalities, and interests, which together create a vibrant world.

So, no matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you’ve been through, we welcome everyone, including you, celebrating, recognising and respecting your uniqueness.

We are taking part in the AWEI – “The AWEI now stands as the definitive national benchmark on LGBTQ workplace inclusion and comprises the largest and only national employee survey designed to gauge the overall impact of inclusion initiatives on organisational culture as well as identifying and non-identifying employees. The Index drives best practice in Australia and sets a comparative benchmark for Australian employers across all sectors.

Our priority areas for inclusion include:

People with a disability

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Intersex, Queer and Asexual (LGBTIQA+) community members

Culturally and linguistically diverse people

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples

You’re the centre of our world

We nurture a person-centred culture that thrives on inclusion and kindness. You will always be seen, heard and respected. That’s our promise to you.

Our comprehensive range of services have been thoughtfully designed to address the diverse needs of individuals, elevating their overall wellbeing. We’re proud to have built a culture that fosters and prioritises belonging, confidence, and self-expression, enabling you to explore your feelings and navigate challenges in a confidential and safe environment.

We provide our people with a range of training opportunities including LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Awareness, Cross Cultural Communication, and Aboriginal Cultural Awareness as well as multiple other program specific opportunities that help us ensure we are providing the most inclusive service we can. We also support our wonderful spectrum of diverse staff and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives by promoting staff membership of our Aboriginal Advisory Group, Diversity & Inclusion Network, and LGBTIQA+ Employee Group.

We are enthusiastic supporters and attendees of events such as NAIDOC Week Mini Ball, NAIDOC Week, Culture Fest, Feast Festival, Wear it Purple Day, RUOK? Day, Diverse Communities Celebration Day, Better Together, National Reconciliation Week, Harmony Day and many more across our beautiful country areas. To stay up to date with events we may be running or attending follow us on facebook.
